Check-in card
All guests must always have check-in card with them and it is valid for the indicated number of people. Each guest is obligated to present this coupon at the request of the camp staff. Your card is valid until the final day of your stay and we kindly ask you to return it to the reception staff at check-out.

Currency exchange
Working hours: 07:00 – 21:00
 You can exchange your foreign currency at the reception desk, in accordance with the official daily exchange rate.

Check out
Check-out for guests who stayed at the camping spots takes place no later than 6 p.m., for guests at the pitches no later than 12 p.m. and for guests in mobile homes or glamping tents no later than 10 a.m. An extra day will be charged in the case of all check-outs carried out after the specified deadline, but without the right to use the accommodation. Payment of services used may be done at the date of departure or any other day from 07:00 till 21:00. However, we recommend you it on the day prior to your departure in order to avoid unnecessary waiting. You can pay with cash or with following credit cards: VISA, MASTERCARD, MAESTRO, DINERS, AMERICAN CARD

Doctor
If you require any medical assistance, please contact our reception staff and they will immediately contact the doctor or ambulance. Doctor’s appointments and consultation costs are paid directly to the doctor.

Internet corner
Internet corner is located at the camp reception and is available for you 24/7. If you wish to catch up to the latest global news online or check your email, you can use our computers free of charge. If you have any connectivity issues or problems with your Internet, feel free to contact our reception staff.

Info center
At info centre you can find various information about the camp, city of Novalja and the island Pag. You can make reservations for one of our numerous excursions (Plitvice national park, Kornati national park, island Rab, island Silba, etc.), buy postcards and washer/dryer tokens.

Chargers for electric cars
Trying to meet all the needs of its guests, campsite Straško has recognized the growing interest in energy efficiency technology and offers an electric charging station for campsite guests.

Working hours
New and modernly equipped, Straško markets will supply you with all the products you may need during your vacation. Apart from basic nutritional products and fresh bakery delicacies, the markets offer a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, unavoidable beach accessories, as well as products for your four-legged friends. Gastro house & Straško winery
Across from the Straško market there is the Gastro house and Straško winery. In the Gastro house you can taste local specialties or buy autochthonous souveniers that will remind you of a holiday in the camp, while in the Straško winery you can taste the wines of top wineries.

Buy some fresh fruit and vegetables, visit the mini fish market and start the morning with a scent of freshly baked goods and pastry.

Camp Shop
In the shopping area there is also a CAMP SHOP – a place where you can rent bikes, scooters and boats. If your bike breaks down during your vacation, the friendly staff of the Camp Shop service will fix it in a short time. Here you can also find a large selection of camping equipment that will make your stay in the camp easier.

Straško beach
Camp Straško beach is among the most beautiful beaches on the island of Pag and it spreads over 2000m of coastal area. The shore is made out of pebbles while in the sea you can find the gritty sand. The Beach of the Straško Camp with its natural beauty and its accompanying facilities meets all the criteria and carries with pride for many years now, a blue flag, certifying its excellence. This award is given by the association “Lijepa naša” to the most organized beaches in Croatia. High criteria and standards that the organization prescribes are all meat and the award is a proof that the beach of the Straško camp is indeed worthy to be called as one of the most beautiful beaches of the northern Adriatic. The Blue Flag symbol awarded to beaches is awarded in accordance with an international program for the protection of the marine and coastal environment.

The pool complex
For those who love to relax in the pool, there’s an outdoor pool complex right next to the beach. And for your youngest ones who are ready to have some fun and a lot of laughter there’s a shallow mini pool with a slide next to the kids club. While your kids are having fun, you can enjoy the newly renovated sundeck with comfortable deck chairs by the pool. The pool complex is intended for all camp guests. For your own comfort and safety, please observe the published rules and regulations for the pool area.

Fun & entertainment
With our entertainment team, great fun awaits you almost every day – evening performances, themed family days (Harry Potter Day, Pirate Day, Cartoon Day), eco workshops and sports tournaments are just some of the many activities we have prepared for you. Entertainment activities are tailored for guests of all ages so everyone can find the ideal activity for themselves. All information related to the entertainment program you can find at the information boards or at the camp reception.
NOTE: The range of animation activities varies from low to high season.

Sport centre
If you decided to spend your vacation actively, you have chosen wisely! STRAŠKO sports centre offers a wide variety of sports and recreational content so that you can enjoy your favourite sport for the whole summer – and FOR FREE, of course. Join our body & mind programme and do yoga, pilates or just get a good stretching with stretch & relax.

GYM
For all those who want to stay in top shape during the summer holidays, in the sport center there is a modern equiped gym that has everything you need for an active vacation – from devices for aerobic exercise to devices for building and shaping muscles. Just like all other sport facilities, the gym is free for all camp guests.

Sport activities with extra charge
To make your vacation in the camp to be filled from the first to the last day, we have prepared numerous programs and sports activities in nature. A relaxing boat trip is a real adventure for the whole family, while water sports will surely awaken your adventurous spirit.

ZOO Camping Straško
In our mini ZOO you can find all kinds of animals including donkeys, goats, pot-bellied pigs, rabbits, hares and tortoises. All of our animals are here to bring you joy and in any time you can look for the farm workers who can tell you a lot of interesting stories about the animals. Mini ZOO is located near the camp reception.

Grill
It is prohibited to light a fire, including any open flame (eg. candles), at any location within the Camp. In mobile homes and on pitches only electric or gas grill is allowed.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

Restaurant Plaža

In the pleasant ambience of the main promenade you will find the restaurant Plaža with its vast terrace and a view that leads to distant kvarner islands Cres and Lošinj. Alongside the soft sounds of music it offers a great variety of exceptionally prepared dishes of local and Mediterranean cuisine and fish and meat specialities on daily bases.

Tavern Giardin

Giardin Tavern is an easy-going place where we want our every guest to have an authentic gastronomic experience. Here you can find a wide range of homemade food, fresh fish, seafood and meat delicacies made out of first class ingredients provided by local suppliers.

Pizzeria More

Our high pizza quality is achieved by selecting only the best ingredients, by thin and crispy dough and by the skills of our top chefs. The basis of most of our pizzas is homemade tomato sauce and own produced olive oil. By mildly seasoning our pizzas we are leaving the possibility of pairing them with a wide range of wines.

The pizzeria is located in the centre of the camp and has a unique terrace right by the beach and the promenade.

Beach bars
Along the beach you can find the bars where you can enjoy your morning coffee with the murmur of the sea or where you can refresh yourself with a cocktail during the day. The evening is reserved for the amazing sunsets that can only be seen here.

CAMP RULES

1. During their visit, guests of the STRAŠKO Camp are required to comply with the house rules and the code of conduct, taking into account the peace and security of all guests of the Camp, in particular, of many children who reside in the Camp, and taking into account the property of the Camp and other guests.
2. Check-in at the Camp takes place from 7 a.m. for guests at the camping spots, from 12 p.m. for guests at the pitches and from 5 p.m. for guests in mobile homes or glamping tents. Check-out for guests who stayed at the camping spots takes place no later than 6 p.m., for guests at the pitches no later than 12 p.m. and for guests in mobile homes or glamping tents no later than 10 a.m. An extra day will be charged in the case of all check-outs carried out after the specified deadline, but without the right to use the accommodation.
3. The calculation and payment of services used can be carried out by guests on the day of departure or every day no later than 8:30 p.m. In order to avoid crowds, or in the case of early departure, guests are advised to carry out the payment the day before the planned departure.
4. During their stay in the Camp, guests are obliged to have with them the application form that they received when registering at the reception, and show it at the request of the Camp staff.
5. Entry and exit from the Camp, and driving a car or any other motor vehicle inside the Camp is possible only between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.
6. Placing tents and awnings is allowed only from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
7. Only guests registered at the reception are allowed to be accommodated in the Camp. Minors can stay in the Camp only if accompanied by parents or adults to whom they are entrusted. All persons present in the Camp, but not registered as guests, will be removed from the Camp.
8. The maximum permitted speed of vehicles in the Camp is 20 km/h. Pedestrians have the right of way to all vehicles. PAY ATTENTION TO CHILDREN!
9. Guests are required to maintain cleanliness of the areas they use. Waste should be deposited only in the designated bins and containers placed in the Camp. Guests are required to leave sanitary facilities neat after use.
10. The water in all parts of the Camp is potable. We kindly ask guests to use water conscientiously and moderately.
11. During their stay, guests are not allowed to make noise (by using radio, TV, musical instruments, etc.) and disturb other guests by talking loudly, shouting, banging or in any other way, during any time of day and night. All guests who disturb or interfere with a comfortable stay and rest of other guests in any way, or damage the property of the Camp or other guests in any way, will be removed from the Camp by the Camp staff. They will also be required to pay for their stay and any damage caused.
12. Complete peace and quiet in the Camp are compulsory from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
13. It is prohibited to damage trees and other greenery in any way, take gravel from the beach, enclose the area in which you reside, and carry out any work on the land or camping spots. Otherwise, the guests will be required to pay for all damage caused and the staff reserves the right in this case to remove the guest from the Camp.
14. IT IS PROHIBITED to light a fire, including any open flame (eg. candles), at any location within the Camp. In mobile homes and on pitches only electric or gas grill is allowed.
15. It is not allowed to wash the dishes or laundry in places not provided for that purpose.
16. It is not allowed to wash vehicles, trailers or boats at any location within the Camp.
17. It is not allowed to retain, gather or stay overnight on the beach after 11 p.m.
18. IT IS PROHIBITED to drive boats, pedal boats, jet skis or any other vessel in the swimming zone.
19. IT IS PROHIBITED to leave beach chairs, towels, mats or any personal belongings on the beach all day/night, because all things will be removed during the beach clean up.
20. Choosing a place in the Camp (except in the case of numbered pitches) is free, provided that guests are required to use the space rationally, taking into account other guests. Guests are required to put the pitch number assigned at the reception upon check-in in a visible place and return it at the reception upon check-out.
21. It is not allowed to park cars outside the accommodation units. Guests are required to park their cars and other means of transport that cannot be placed on the pitch outside the Camp in a public parking lot.
22. Persons who are visiting friends or family who are guests of the Camp must leave their vehicles in a parking lot outside the Camp and register themselves at the reception as visitors. Visits are allowed from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., for a maximum period of 2 hours. If the visitor extends the duration of her/his visit, she/he is required to pay for a day ticket in the amount of 70,00 HRK when leaving. If the visitor leaves the Camp after 9 p.m., the Camp staff is authorized to charge for a day ticket in the amount of 70,00 HRK per person the guest where the visitor stayed, at the check-out.
23. The inventory control of mobile homes is carried out at the check-out of the guest. In the case of damage or lack of inventory, the staff is authorized to charge the guest for all the damage in the actual amount.
24. Abandoned, lost or forgotten items can be brought to the reception.
25. Guests can store their valuables (jewelry, money, etc.), for a fee, in a vault located at the reception.
26. HADRIA d.o.o. assumes no responsibility for any theft, damage and loss of property of guests. HADRIA d.o.o. assumes no responsibility for damage caused by force majeure, so guests are advised to secure their property.
27. Mail is delivered to the Camp on working days in the afternoon and guests can pick it up at the reception.
28. Guests can submit any comments and complaints exclusively to the following e-mail address: strasko@hadria.biz
29. All guests who fail to comply with any provision of these house rules, and in any other way interfere with the functioning of the Camp, disturb other guests or threaten the property of others, will be removed from the Camp. Their accommodation will be cancelled and they will be required to pay for any damage caused.

Camp rules for pet owners

1. Pet owners are required to report the presence of theirs pets upon arrival at the reception on presentation of the vaccination card and pay a fee for their stay according to the official price list of the Camp.
2. Guests are required to keep their pets on a leash and with a muzzle. Guests are also required to keep their pets on a leash within the accommodation unit. Guests are required to pick up after their pets and dispose it in the provided bins.
3. Pets can be washed only in dedicated showers located in the sanitary facilities.
4. It is prohibited to take pets to the reception premises, shops, sanitary facilities and, generally, all enclosed spaces, and in particular, to the children’s playgrounds.
5. Pets are allowed only in designated parts of the beach. Guests who violate this provision of the house rules are required, at the request of the staff, to pay a fine in the amount of 1.000,00 HRK.
6. Pets are allowed in the Camp, with the exception of those that in any way can endanger or interfere with a safe and comfortable stay of the guests. The Camp staff is authorized to request from pet owners who do not comply with the house rules to leave the Camp.
